Located at our Village in Middlemount you’ll be inducting our new starers for our remote Villages across The Bowen Basin and Blackwater. This is a full time fixed-term contract, commencing in the New Year until October 2026, with the possibility to extend until early 2027. Drive in, Drive out with the option of a 5:2 or 9:5 roster to suit your lifestyle. The Role (What you’ll do) Deliver engaging and interactive onboarding sessions that make every new starter feel valued and ready to succeed— both face-to-face, online Maintain and update onboarding materials to reflect current policies, procedures, and organizational values Work closely with the wider People & Culture team, IT, and Operations to deliver seamless onboarding experiences Listen to feedback and use it to make each session better than the last Champion inclusion by adapting sessions to diverse learning styles and backgrounds Track participation and keep records up-to-date for compliance About You (What you’ll bring) Certificate or diploma in Training & Assessment, Human Resources, or a related field (desirable) Experience leading onboarding or training sessions, with an aptitude for engaging groups Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Confident public speaker, comfortable with digital learning tools and flexible delivery formats.
